Plastic
Surgery Risks
Plastic surgery requires incisions, and with a surgical procedure
comes risks. An anesthetic will be administered, and some people
may have adverse reactions to it. Plastic surgery risks can
be very serious and life threatening, which is why our surgeons
will conduct a complete medical examination and review your
entire medical history.
It
is very important to disclose any information that may affect
your safety and health during your procedure. Patients that
are determined to be high risk will have every precautionary
measure taken and the plastic surgeon will closely monitor
your stability and condition during the entire surgical procedure.
Complications with bleeding and infections can occur and they
increase with every extra procedure that will prolong the
time the incision is kept open. Our plastic surgeons are experienced
in detecting and properly managing any complications, but
they are trained and educated to prevent any problems.
